This winter, take a magical journey through the wardrobe door of creativity with noted author and speaker Allen Arnold. In this interactive retreat, we'll take a fresh look at the world of story and storytellers through the eyes of C.S. Lewis, Madeleine L'Engle, and Jesus.

The goal is to restore a sense of wonder, curiosity, freedom, and imagination to the stories we're writing—and living—by exploring some of the key practices, insights, and stories of C.S. Lewis, Madeleine L'Engle, and Jesus. 

Allen will lead three all-new morning sessions filled with teaching, exercises, and Q&A. The afternoons will provide times for writing, rest, and smaller break-out sessions with Allen. This transformative, interactive retreat offers mythic and practical ways to get unstuck, ignite your heart and your art, and illuminate your creativity through a kindred fellowship of modern-day inklings.

Allen Arnold Author, Speaker, Coach

Allen Arnold is a creativity coach, author, and speaker. As the founding publisher of one of the largest Christian Fiction imprints of the past several decades, he led the launch of more than 500 novels. Throughout his career, he has worked with numerous New York Times best-selling authors (both fiction and non-fiction) and offered his proven, counterintuitive insights to creatives of every stripe at events around the globe. He is the acclaimed author of three books on creativity and God: The Story of With, Chaos Can’t, and Waves of Creativity.


In person & Online

A limited number of people (around 60) will be able to attend the Winter Creativity Summit in-person in Colorado Springs. The entire event will be recorded for in-person attendees to watch later and for those who wish to retreat at home to watch at their own pace.

Lodging

We are excited to work with The Hideaway Inn & Conference Center for our retreat this year! If you are registered to attend in person no further action is required on your part to make a reservation. We will take care of everything! We are limiting the number of single room options due to the fact that it will reduce our overall capacity for in-person attendance. If single rooms are sold out and you still want one I encourage you to register at that level and join the waiting list. Once we achieve the minimum attendance we need we may begin to open up more single rooms as we are able and you will be first in line.

Check in is at 4 pm on Monday, March 17th. The first session will begin after dinner.

CANCELLATION POLICY
In the event you discover you cannot attend this event after you’ve registered, the following refund policy will apply:

More than 60 days prior to the event: full refund, less a 10% processing fee
30-59 days prior to the event: 50% refund
Less than 30 days prior to the event: non refundable, but you may transfer your registration to another attendee. You are responsible for finding the individual to whom you wish to transfer your registration and informing the registrar of the change.

Host Cancellation: In the event the host (Realm Makers) needs to cancel the retreat due to under enrollment or other unexpected complications, the host will make sure to do so at least six (6) weeks before the event date. The host will refund registration payments at that time, but is not liable for any transportation costs attendees may have already incurred.
